Legend Kayaks are rotomoulded in house in Park Rynie Kwazulu Natal. Over the years we have made giant leaps in the manufacturing process, getting us ever closer to the perfect kayak that we strive to produce! Using only the best quality polyethylene available, to produce the most exciting product seen in South African fishing in years! Our aim is to produce the highest quality product at South African prices. We want to supply every fisherman out there with something that will be handy, if not a total necessity, in all fishing situations! The most prominent feature of our kayak, is how easy it is to use! The stability of this vessel allows a total novice to jump in and have some fun. This does not mean that a very experienced fisherman cannot get technical on the kayak, on the contrary, the amazing deck allows for expansion and experimentation in a fisherman’s techniques and methods! Brian Jacob started Hunter Ski cc in 2006 , after a few years of getting into the kayak fishing industry. He spotted a gap for a range of plastic kayaks to be made in South Africa. We started trading as Legend Kayaks in 2013, as this name better explained our range of craft. In 2023 Legend Kayaks was purchased by an equally enthusiastic partner, who shares the love of fishing and water sports.

We now make 10 different kayaks for a variety of applications and a Stand up Paddle Board. Our passion is fishing, and we specialise in making and fitting our crafts for any type of fishing.

We also do custom moulding for customers, such as water tanks, parts boxes etc.

Our production facility in Park Rynie, is state of the art and we specialise in long products, even plastic distribution and multi stage production process with inner foam layers.
